Golden October, a Nation Celebrates Together

In October the air turns cool, osmanthus fragrance fills the streets, and fresh red national flags line the roads. Turning to this page on the calendar means the long-awaited seven-day holiday has finally arrived.

This past year you have probably been run off your feet. Office lights often burned late; shop stock and tallies rolled on one after another; construction dust still clung to your cuffs. Now that National Day is finally here, set the to-do lists, reports and chasing-phone-calls aside for a while.

Some head home for a hot meal with parents; some travel to see the mountains and sea they have long wanted to; some go nowhere at all, just wanting to sleep in for a few days and make up for lost rest. Whichever it is, these seven days belong to you.

We are Gulin Commerce - the ones who quietly look after offices, shops and factories across the city, choosing flooring, installing AC and fitting cleaning equipment for them. When the holiday comes, these busy daytime spaces go quiet too, resting for seven days until you push the door open again after the break.

Work can wait until after the holiday. If the floor gets dirty, the AC needs cleaning, or equipment needs servicing, we will be here. But today, no business talk - just one wish:

Happy birthday, my country; happy holiday, to each and every one of you.

May you travel safely, may your family be reunited, and may this autumn bring you good food, sound sleep and a genuine smile. See you after the holiday, seven days on.
